The user defines the framework
without the need for specialized technical assistance.
-
TSED allows the input of
data from different sources for one single indicator. This allows
the comparison between data from different sources and methodologies.
-
The statistics module allows
the creation of new indicators and the calculation of indices
(e.g. the Human Development Index) in just a few steps, with
assistance from the system’s wizards.
-
In the presentation gallery,
decision-makers can select between maps, graphs, tables and
reports previously prepared by the technical teams. These can
be modified or exported to Power Point, Excel or Word.
-
The ArcView technology for
mapping is contained in TSED, allows for the easy creation of
maps with up to 10 levels of geographic disaggregation.
-
TSED technology uses the
full capacity of Excel, Word, Access and Windows Programs. It
operates in Windows 95, 98, 2000, ME and XP and requires MS
Office.
-
The database administer
module allows users with limited training to create and edit
their own databases.
-
All indicators, sources
and classificatory frameworks are linked to additional information
(in word sheets) within the same system (definitions, information
collection methods, etc).
